Real talk, I am sure it is quite easy to forget a minor fuss like this, plus who in their right mind divorce solely on qabiil beef ? How would it reflect on your garoobinimo status ? Why was he/she divorced ?

At the end of the day, I'd rather marry someone from a far off strange qawiil than my own. If things don't pan out, I will never see Xalimo again unlike if we were kin: see her & her fugly fam @ the weddings, funeral, Allabari, xuska etc
Loool sounds like you're speaking from experience...

As for marrying outside of tol..not sure I agree, it depends on the family no? You seem to think of divorce in the same sentence as marriage every time...why is that? Been burned too many times? lool

as for garoobnimo status...mate divorcée life in our community is hard enough without that extra baggage...can you imagine, they (ex in laws) wouldnt even have to make shit up to ruin your chances

Gedogurl,

I am. No the mere mention of the Juufo brings back flashbacks. Never again ! I got cousins who married one of the tol and when things went south, these 'tol' were the nastiest sons of bit, ches ever.

Fuckin hell, that sounds awful...what a bunch of cunts...did you all marry from the same actual family or something? How about marrying from your mum's side? You said you wanted a stable wife who just stays at home...donate some love back home nooh

GedoGurl,

The cousins all married to the subjuffo. It was horrible. Check your PM.

Going home carries a risk and not to mention endless paperwork to get her stateside. I prefer keeping it local.

Well if more than two of you got burned thats more than a warning signal, thats an Achtung! sign

Yeah, the risk is too high...but people are generally hotter back home, and have better manners in my experience..I was considering brining one in myself not that long ago

And people here have issues, and some sort of trauma..people back home seemed so much smarter and realer to me :|

I don't wanna marry a dude like that. Qabiil jokes are fun and innocent but WTF that level of hate is too deep.

If he is talking wreckless, I would grab his pillow and blanket and throw him in the basement. I'd probably let him stay down there for about a week until we even THINK about talking to each other. Men hate to be on the hot chair.

Gedogurl,

In my experience, you should factor class, how someone was raised in your search, education, work ethic, life views and religiosity over other factors . I could not date a traditional Xalimo from Mudug no matter if she is the Somali Aphrodite because at the end of the day, the culture clash would do us in.

SegsiK,

Denying him booty (or teasing and walking away) would be much worse. Adding, "Go ask ina adeerta for relief..."

Why not just throw him out hypothetically speaking.

Dhaga, no one would want to marry a nacas like that. If I do, I can't just walk out of our marriage after the first disagreement. The two should talk before taking the next step.

Perfect Order, its not only his house. I'm not gonna shut up just because I think its "his" house, get the hell outta here! We both contribute to it in someway, I'd make it clear I didn't want him in the same room, so he'd understand his wrong doing and prolly go to the next room/living room/ or basement but NOT in our room. The guy obviously knew he messed up when he slowly turned around and started looking guilty.

LOL@ AW      that would be worse, dhiiga intuu ku karo ha i ceejiye.
