What? There you go Siciid with your bogus claims. Those were Iidoors who were carrying that British woman on their back. Come on that is fact.Siciid85 wrote:Emperior, true true for all we know the other picture could be las qoray, lughaya , seylac etc or somewher else in the northern coasts.
I am seeing bogus claims made by Empiror that you guys were in the Darwiish movement. There were few Isaaks who were Dervishes and they were religious men who were dissatisfied with the Qaadiriya order. Even Shiikh Bashiir that he claimed was the nephew of Sayid Mohamed and revolted but that was insignificant; we still applauded his efforts.
The Qusuusi were over twenty men. Majority were Ogadeen - Bah Geri, Dhulbahante, Mareexaan (Reer Kooshin), and Majeerteen (Issa Mohamud).
Re: Historic Pics..
Udun, as usual you chat shit, where is the proof that those people in the picture are idoor? and you said Isaaq in dervish was a bogus claim then why did your idol mad mullah spend his time making poems for Idoor sub clans and proposing alliances

Grandpakhaliif. "Some of the raiders were dhulbahante and some were of the habar toljeclo and habar yunis clans." and this was at the jigjiga raid.

Re: Historic Pics..
"Upon that very morning I had been listening in durbar for four hours to the representations of the friendlies - representations to the effect that, unless Government would come to their assistance and protect them with an adequate force, their annihilation at the hands of the Darvishes would be complete within a year or two.
Re: Historic Pics..
The Dervish attacked by Risaaldr Haji Musa Farah Inagarre.
"A remarkable somali , Risaaldr Major Haji Musa Farah led a Somali army of 450 rifles a hundred mile across the Waterless Haud, picking up some five thousand local tribesmen on his way, attacking the Dervish camps and capturing several thousand camels and Sheep. This triumph was a blow to the sayyid, as his forces moved always with their families and depended on their livestock meat and milk."

Re: Historic Pics..
Sayid Mohamed tried to bring you into the Somali Jihaad against the British, the Italians, and Amharas, but to no much success. That is why he came up this poem:Siciid85 wrote:Udun, as usual you chat shit, where is the proof that those people in the picture are idoor? and you said Isaaq in dervish was a bogus claim then why did your idol mad mullah spend his time making poems for Idoor sub clans and proposing alliances
Iidoor Wagaashliyo Kufriga wacad Allow yaale
Waana duul wallaala ah tan iyo waagii aakhiro e.
How are you gonna go around that? The man is saying it like it was in those days and still it is in these days and you still want to walk around the facts.
Dhulabahantena wuxuu yiri:
Ragga diinta hoyga u noqday iyo hanad shirshooraa leh.
I guess one should never try to invent history.
Re: Historic Pics..
Udun, not all Idoors refused him, some took part of battles such as the battle known as Anu Reer bari duuqno, where the Gadhweynes annihilated a alliance of warsangeli & majerteen, all the way to bari, led by Dervish freelancer Ali Darawish a gadhweyn and the sayyid also made numerous poems for Gadhweynes calling them the blessed saints and applauding them for their victory against majerteen-warsangeli alliance, i guess gadhweyn are not idoor not then miyaa?

Listen, you don't understand the folks that Gadhweyn used to be called in the past. It was a mix of different clans and not only Musa Ismail, you need to get that straighten out too, lol!

Re: Historic Pics..
Maanta udun muxu keenay gadhweyn maha gadhweyn

Re: Historic Pics..
You have that title now but it was a mix of clans who had that knickname. The same way the Dabayaco term used to be applied to all of reer Mudug including MJ, Mareexaan, Leelkase, and HabarGidir; today people give it as a kickname of MJ - Reer Mudug.The_Emperior5 wrote:Maanta udun muxu keenay gadhweyn maha gadhweyn![]()
Sanaag Kings? We used to keep you in the mountains and if you come down we used to take your livestocks. Do you remember the story of Nuur Xidig and when he saw Iidoor camels grazing at the bottom of the mountain and when the camel herders saw him they ran away. He launched a spear against one of them and wounded him. later, HY-Musa Ismail elders came back and asked forgiveness. They did not ask their camels and they did not ask the diya of the wounded man. Nuur Xidig requested that "waa inaad i duugtaan". Labadii nin ee Isaaq baa waxay isku qabsadeen anaa duugaya iyo anaa duugaya oo ka horaynaya. Nuur Xidig baa wuxuu ku yiri "Waar maxaad isugu haysataan kiina horaynaya, maad i wada duugtaan". Markaas labadii HY - Musa Ismail baa waxay bilaabeen inay wada duugaan Nuur Xidig. So much for "Sanaag Kings" claim, LMAO

Also, one Iidoor came down with his livestock from the mountain and killed a sagaaro. We took his camels. That is part of the history. So much for the "Sanaag Kings" claim.
