Sad to see Muslims falling for terms such as 'wahhabi' coined by the enemies of Islam.

A Distant relative of mine about 3 year's ago decided to marry a Jamacian dude who she met at the Mosque, well she had one brother who lives back in Africa and he basically cut her off and so did all her family. Fast Forward 4 Year's that same man basically divorced her and ended up going back to the life style he was use to. Morale of the story is Somali people need to keep their distance from these Revert's since most of them are a product of Violence, Single parent homes or are themselves bastard children.
Crazy story, sad to hear that about your relative. Let me tell you a story. I knew a family that lived in my area. A revert brother, a white scottish brother if your wondering, asked the father for his daughter hand in marriage. His father laughed and dismissed the guy. The revert brother however felt that the mans pious daughter would be a perfect wife for him and decided to get somali brothers from the local masjid to help him. After much debate and refusal the father reluctantly agreed. The couple married with most of the girls family refusing to attend the wedding. Even the father refused, but gave his blessings from afar. The revert brother and his wife have now been happily married for 6 years. The father and mother are so fond of their son in law. Moral of the story, never judge a book by its cover.

Yesterday, on Universal Tv question and answer session, A Somali lady rang in and was telling a story about how her niece, who she raised as a daughter apostatised from Islam. The aunty cut her straight off from the family and said don't come near my family again, since you have openly left the fold of Islam. The girl who left the deen mother rang her sister, and said 'your dead to me, since you have cut off my daughter'.

Her loss at the end of it all. Who needs her, when there are droves of people running to Islam.
how old is she?

Not sure about the details
