agree!! only by language, religion, and association have the Sudanese become Arab, without those factors they would be African.

They sometimes confuse me with African, I tell them no I'm European duh you can't tell???

When i went to Umrah in 2010 almost all the Arabs that greeted me asked if i was Sudanese and i replied Somali, many didnt even know what that was.
In England the Asians usually know i am Somali, i had a white girl was convinced that i wasnt black and asked me whether i was one?

most pakis/indians think i'm desi, most ethios/eris think i'm eritrean, and most somalis think i'm isaaq.

Only Somalis come up with threads like this. You wont see sucha thread in any other forum. It's because most Somalians hate who they are

Most people think I am either North Yemenite(due to my Banu Hashimite lineage) or sometimes Oromo.

I HAVE TOLD I LOOKED MIXED(SOMALI-ARAB)...
BUT I DISAPPOINT THEM WHEN I SAY I'M 100% CUSHITIC SOMALI AND PROUD!

frankly speaking alott times people talked 2 me in sudanese accent which i happened 2 speak it..and they assume am al-darob or shaqy or kahaly tribe then i told them am from Somalia..then they always say " bes enta sheklah men beladna ya man"
