A couple of blocks away lives this old italian dude me and my bro were off to the corner shop and then he stopped and said "you somalii?,ehtiopian,u know somali italiana i fight in somalia 1963" and me and my bro tried to say somethin then he said "Ogaden?,yes u r ogaden" then i said im from former british somaliland then he said "Oh isaak , isaak the one fightin with the british" :lol:

They always mistake me for Germanic since my great, great grand-dad was a Viking. Image

How come no one ever gets mistaken for west african? aboriginal etc

it's always 'arab, indian, multi racial, etc lmao

reminds me of the women in my household who think every good looking madow is somali looking :lol:

Anyway this isn't only a Somali thing, I'm a member of a hair board and walahi they have this sort of topic every 3months and majority of the users are madow and they all claim ppl say they look Somali/Ethiopian maybe sometimes mixed race, Hispanic and pretty rarely Indian when they were their remy Indian weave.. :lol:
No one says they get mistaken for west african *or any part of Africa except the Horn*.. :|

I am just being honest, the most foreign looking Somalis are among the Isaaq and Hawiye. I have met some odd ones where I almost couldn't believe they were Somali.
