How ironic is that you quote asafa jalata, the writer of that book, to somehow sway your own discontent for Oromos current status? As if Oromos actually cared for what a faranjii allegedly said about them or even an irrelevant somali nomad thinks, but frankly it seems very amusing to read ordinary somali thoughts about my people despite the fact that somalis are in no position to do so by which means they are using Oromo authors, talking about Oromo nationalism, to justify their attitude. But then again it should not come to complete surprise, since this is the internet, and is the sanctuary where anonymity and ignorance prevails, so we have certain individuals who would rather vent off on one ethnic group than focus on the failures of their own. From a society that collectively uses phases such as "low caste" and "superior" and "inferior", one can easily see how Somalis and Somalia has become analogous with terms such as failure and savagery. Even though they have yet to define the parameters of what makes a person superior or inferior, it thus forces us to assume of what superiority means in universal standards, by which somalis lack from it.

Instead of fixing this model they have carved, they are instead delighting themselves in reading racist 19th century Europeans, who they of course colonized, and using that as some social mechanism to primitively legitimize their punitive somali subclans. They shout out that we are useless and inferior again despite defining what it means to be as such and as if Oromos are here to serve a purpose for Somalis. They claim higher status than us through means they have countries to call their own whom they aggressively fought for, except that they ignore the fact the 1941 atlantic charter between Britian and America could be the main reason why Somalia had independence and it exists today.They claim to have crushed Ethiopia and claim Imaam Ahmed vigorously yet this is with out merit since there is enough viable evidence available acknowledge him as a different ethnic. They claim to be the number one people to have fought Menelik and other countless Amhara rulers, yet it can be proven that Oromos were the number one people to ever go against any Northern ruler, as Somalis watched on the sidelines. They claim to have fought Europeans such as Britians, Italians, and French yet they were controlled and colonized by them. They claim to have evicted the Gallas from their lands, yet the land they hold is invaluable to Oromo cattle herders, who in history have voluntarily moved from one place to another at will. As well as there in enough evidence out there to assume that portions of these "Gallas" were no other than Non Muslim Somalis. They claim to be honorable Muslims, yet the path and morals they follow are truly unislamic. They instead use Islam as a political tool that in their silly brains, it peacefully correlates with the nationally of Somali, by which they uphold their ultranationalistic and jingoistic views. They wish for Oromos to lay down to the primitive Somali conformity of picking up a gun and thus failing, then migrating in large numbers to over crowded refugee camps.

After the end of the day, it seems "useless" to talk about such things since somalis are not interested discussing it.
But then the charlatans here too dont want to discuss such things either.
