I got Your point, laakin the situation(s) in Bossaso and this one in Gaalkacyo were different don't You agree? First of all anywhere North of Gaalkacyo but they are lets just say a lot more passive and accepting of authority than Gaalkacyo. In Bossaso I don't even think people have weapons and if they do its nothing like in Gaalkacyo. Secondly Bossaso primairly waxaa degan MJ and this PIS as I understand it is MJ. Marka considering the nature of the city and the single clan demographic, they can be a lot more open handed apprehending criminals.


In the Gaalkacyo situation as I understand it, form what all You Guys are saying, this PIS is primairly MJ, the man they were apprehending was Lelkase and not only that the neighborhood they went to apprehend Him was a Lelkasse dominated neighborhood, in broad daylight. Therefore You have a population in Gaalkacyo that is kinda feisty and on top of all that a MJ orginization comes to Garsoor demands to arrest one of their elders, and the population will not react? I don't think much tact was shown. Teeda kale there were probably a million ways to go about this that would be smarter, not that I'm condoning this but how about kidnapping the guy? Are You telling Me this couldn't have been handled better?

First you acted, Xamud like wise, as if Bosaso was treated differently without realizing that the sitatuation was never the same as the Garsoor situation i.e an arresting swat getting killed and attacked. As for other ways of handling, i already said many times that it would've been better if the person in question was arrested and if he's innocent, the Garsoor elders would mediate on his behalf.

You seem to forget that it was Garsoor that started shooting. The one that starts is always to blame!

Ofcourse I realized that You were right it didn't happen in Bossaso. Its not changing my story I acknowledge any facts that come. That being if indeed the first shots were fired from one side then thats qalad. From My perspective and a lot of other people's perspective restraint should always be on the side of the party that has the advantage. Obviously this PIS group had access to all of Puntlands weapons caches, arsenals, recourses, manpower while this was a tribal militia. Lelkasse iyo Majerteen waa dad walaalo ah oo tol ah I do not see any reason why the Puntland authorities couldn't approach the Lelkasse elders and request a handover of whoever they were looking for be it the killer of the commander and/or this businessman?

If only things happened the way you want us to think it did. No one was informed about hawlgalka lagu so qabanayo ninkan, not even the deputy Mayor of Gaalkacyo who is Leelkase, only Wasiirka Aminga,Faroole, and Saraakiska Gobolka mudug knew, and they all happen to hail from the same clan, they went in thinking this dude will hand himself over peacefully, everyone is armed in Gaalkacyo, specially businessmen, they should have informed the elders, xubnahaa beesha ugu jirto mamuulka, am 100% they would have gotten the support they needed, instead they went in exchange fire with the dude, killed one of his brothers, injured the other one, and injured him.

Could it have been done in a better way? yes? did they want to do it in a better way? no.
