Sierra leone militias are needed in their own country

Uganda hasn't even defeated their rebel militia in 20 plus years. South Sudan has rebels who just killed 100 plus people in a region in their country.anonymousfaarax wrote:Sierra leone militias are needed in their own countrywth are they going to Somalia for when their country is a f-king wreck.

Hopefully Nigeria will become more brave now and send a battalion or two to Somalia.

It is a way form these countries to get their soldiers off their payroll and built them up logistically .

As a nationalist and a patriot ill go on record in saying “I do not support foreign boots in our soil”.
I believe the change should come from within, and that the people of the land should settle their differences on their own. It would have been understandable if we were fighting another nation and foreign troops intervened to defuse the tension between the two countries. Naturally when two brothers fight it is the family’s duty to come between them. Unfortunately in our case the family is split between the two warring brothers and thus require outside intervention to save the family from itself. Initially the family would refuse outside intervention and would view the intervention as an aggression (Ethiopia case in 2006). I don’t think this case would be any different than that of 2006 by Ethiopia

Listen to the intellectuals that adviced you against foreign intervention thread maker.

A fool like voltage never learns from his mistakes and is doomed to repeat them all over again(i.e ethiopia 2006). Just like kenya, Sierra Leone were also forced to take out loans from the IMFto start an invasion they can't afford.

Big distinction Dangirl. I supported Ethiopia not because of goodwill or because they were going to build an environment to bring back the state. I hate Ethiopia and have never thought they bode well for Somali people and state. I supported them simply to defeat ICU and bring Barre Hiiraale back to Kismaayo. I was still very much into tribal think and didn''t forsee a situation where we would get out of warlordism to statehood.
Today it is a different situation. I support AMISOM and Kenya not because of tribalism (AMISOM has nothing to do with my clan and Kenya is pro-Azania) but because of pragmatism. Somalis are incapable of bring back the state. They failed for 20 years and 18 conferences and the one hope we had in unifying Islam has been perverted by Shabab which has garnered the enemy of the word and can never be allowed to represent Somalia. The Africans are only there to provide the security environment for political reformation. The same Sierra Leone that is now saying they will send troops to Somalia was itself in civil war until West Africa led by Nigeria sent in peacekeepers to hold security until politica reformation would be achieved. Today there they go.
SahanGabeed niyo amaan aan kaa helo. Wax badan baad i dabo guuuraysay and I am wondering why since we are not nationals, country man, isku jinsiyad ma wadaagno, isku dal ma wadaagno, isku siyaasad ma wadaagno, xuduud xata ma aanu lihin. Guud ahaan maxaaba kaa galay Somalia and gaar ahaa maxaaba kaa galay Voltage iyo gobolo aan ku qusayn? Somalinimadaad kusoo geli lahayd adigaa by virtue of being a secessionist dhaawacay so meeshaada xigso, ana kaygaan xigsan.

Somalilanders have no opinion in this. You are foreigners just like Kenya and Sierra Leone.

^eh, I'm a world citizen; I feel compelled to butt my head into everything
But still, bringing more foreign troops into Somalia won't help the situation, only further complicate it and strengthen Al-Shabab. The best solution is to unite the Somalis against al-Shabab (don't ask me how tho)
