Seemeeyr, akhi even if my brother was an atheist I wouldn't behave like that, nor would my brother just say illogical provocative things to present his lack of belief. I would expect sound reasons and have discussions him to help him come back to haqq and I would pray for him, denouncing him, excommunicating him, and all other behaviours would be useless.

This might seem overrated for your minor stament, but in general people react to those who disagree a with them in a negative matter that is against their own principles.
