I agree! I hope the other man is still alive and single now. That would be very cute.

You mean a 96 yo divorcee lady finding her lover from 60, 70 years ago who might be over 100 yo now even if he lives? SMH!

Yes. Everyone deserves to be happy and loved? If this story concluded in such a way it would be romantic and poignant.

Let me get this again. You said, "Everyone deserves to be happy and loved" Who are we talking about here when we're saying "everyone"?

You mean 'everyone' by the cheating granny because clearly the old man is not happy and was cheated on? Ma anaa waalan ama Snet baa laga heesayaa? :|

I can't read Somali Twist so I need you to translate the last part. And by everyone, yes, I mean this old woman. People in happy and fulfilling marriages don't cheat in my opinion. So I hope she finally finds happiness.

Forget about the last part 'cause that doesn't matter. So you're saying if you're not happy in marriage you have to cheat in order to be happy? What happened to common sense? What about leave the relationship & find what makes you happy? And you don't care that the cheating will make the partner, without a doubt, unhappy?

Alpha, do you want any more justification? I want be member of your party, mate.

^^^ Maybe during her time, divorce was no option. It was Italy in the 1940`s. People didnt just get divorced.Maybe she had to suck it up and it also seems that was not last time they had issues. The article also mentions that he was separated from her after that.

"I hope she finally finds happiness".

Twist, bro, I really have no arguments left to say on this. But random outbursts of frustration should be expected.

Even if we say that was the reason behind her staying in that "unhappy" marriage (though 40's is waaaaaay back in to the past & that's a poor excuse) but what about the fact she kept all those letters from that affair? Has that something to do with the 40's in Italy too? LOL!

One cherishes & saves what is dear to them. May be that lover gave her a lesson she couldn't forget all her life. Just saying!
