Given I had about 20 hours notice of the wedding, I'd say it wasn't bad.

If I give a day's notice of the wedding, I wouldn't expect any gifts. I've said it before in this thread, an envelop of money is best done by a group of close friends.

I'ld say gift certificates for a romantic weekend getaway, spas or fancy restaurants.

I was in the same situation on my brother's wedding I didn't know what to get him and his wife who happened to be my friend. So I sent them their honeymoon and paid all their travel expenses during honeymoon.
Depends on your budgets really and how much you want to spend, I suggest you should just give them a gift card or envelope of money.

I rarely ever liked a perfume i got.
Alpha cash sounds very cold.
I talked to her together with ma sister and another cousin who had no clue and we decided to chip in for a trip to see her hooyo.A trip that she has been meaning to make.Worked out perfectly.
