Just for your sake, simplify things in your head:
Falling into sin or commiting sin is different not carrying out the obligatory deeds. Hijaab is a MUST not an option.
To be a practsing Muslim, you have have to do all the obligatory duties.
But making mistakes, falling to zin etc is beside the point.
Got it? hope so.

As for the argument you're having, salaadu wa waxa ugu horaya ee lagu waydiinaya akhiro.Wax kasta iyada ka horaysa.
My statement was addressed to ViledGarbasaar as I did not want to keep writing pointless posts. Of course saladda is the first thing we are going to be asked, but we are required a number of things to fulfill as Muslims. They are called obligatory deeds, so a practising Muslims must endure all the difficulties to carry out all of them, just I live in a place where it is difficult to wear it etc does not exampt you from it ( unless that our lives are in danger).
So to be a practising Muslim you are trying to do all the obligatory duties not SOME of them. Can a woman pray without hijab? and what does it mean to be walking around with your cawrah? it is sin and a disaboyance of Allah (SWT) commands. Nothing is more worse than disobeying Allah. Second, can you keep mixing up sinnah and prayers? you pray and then commit a sin?
Are you a practising Muslim then?
Of course it is not easy to wear hijab in where we live( if you want to have certain jobs), but that does not mean we should stop wearing it.
Let me tell you this other thing: I started wearing hijab at at 14 and when came here I find it difficult not because of the society but I wanted to show my beauty, but I have to struggle to keep my hijab( in the most proper way), because I am PPRACTSING muslim.
I am not being judgemental about others, but I will never acceppt statements as 'a non-wearing hijab women are practsiing Muslims'.
Islam does not change and I refused others ( particularly new Muslims) to dictate me what is a practsing Muslim and what is not.
There is not need to be defensive about the question. It is simple.
As a weak Muslim, I try to come up with all the obligatory deeds while a devout or pious Muslim performs extra deeds.
