People have been complaining about the issue of wait time for new members for quite a while. What would you suggest mods do?

I agree, but there are some who create nick and only use them to talk shit, these types usually have small number of post and only post in specific discussion, it is clear such nicks are created by people who are already members here on Somalinet.

The mods have completely failed to detect and permanently ban these multinickers. Its a shame really, here I was thinking the new regime would be better, but apparently they are just worse.

There are several problems that need to be addressed before mods can go on a ban spree. For one, a few people have had issues with logging into their accounts, and were forced to create new usernames.

Agreed. I think those users are only abusing memberships. To my knowledge, some don't even bother using proxies.
