You displayed ignorance and you are sexist and a male chauvinist. You seem to be stuck in the dark ages. This is the 21th century and woman are far more educated and out perform men in a lot different professions. Women don't need to be just housewives and they do not need to only attend to the needs of demands of husband and children. They don't need to be preoccupied with domestic work. Women are worth far more. They can be what ever they desire.

Men are untrustworthy. A smart women will never place her full trust in a man. Tomorrow when he leaves his wife for another woman how must she support her children? Collect welfare checks from the government? Education is power and education is the way out and education is far more important than man. :x

Sexism beats racism it seems.

Amilla,

Calm down my sweet buttercups. And don't bother your little head with highfalutin notions of education and enlightenment because only the ugly ones gravitate towards education as means to hide their unattractiveness. Leave that to your natural superiors.

Allah created men to think and strategize and women to worry and look after the kids. This is why men have bigger brains then women (a scientific fact) and men out perform women in every field of human endeavor from arts and science to sports and business. Instead, Allah endowed you with bigger hips. You know why? You guessed it! To bear children. Thus, men are naturally drawn to women with wide hips because subconsciously they know they have higher probability of successfully giving birth. Do you have big hips Amilla?

So I strongly urge you to drop this feminazi shid about female empowerment and know that you dwell in a man's world. Always have, always will.

That is what I usually hear the same from Somalis and when I ask why they feel that I get "just cus" answer.

What if the girl chooses not to settle down young and go to school and receive education and find a decent job first before opening the baby making factory :?
Who said you can't do all that while being married?

What for? What good is education on a girl? No one wil fuk her brains. It is her body and motherhood skills that are covetted.

So I say stop this silliness of education and focus on staying shape and learning how to be a good housewife. That is if you want to get married before your eggs expire.
 warya quote properly next time

It is not the size of the brain that makes people brilliant or intelligent it is a way the brain develops and to assert that men are intellectually superior to women based on brain size is just ridiculous.

First, I never claimed to be a feminist and I never thought myself to be one but if that was your impression of me whatever rocks your boat.

Second, men, especially Muslim men, use religion as a tool to degrade women and deny them their rights so I suggest you get down from your self-righteous horse. Third, I am well versed why women have big hips and I don't need you to educate me about that. There was time when human's survival depended on women breeding and that is no longer the case. Women don't need to breed to prove their worth. Furthermore, In today's world, one doesn't need to do physically demanding job in order to achieve great thing.

Most jobs today are done by machines which evens the playing field for women. It is proven fact that women out perform men in a lot of growing jobs and this trend is likely to continue in the future. They do better at school and it is predicted that women will earn more and hold higher positions. Just see what women have achieved within the past 100 years or so. If that is any indication women are at a trajectory headed to the top.

The statement you made about ugly women gravitating toward education is the most ignorant thing I had ever heard. Your physical appearance is not a factor when it comes to deciding if you want to get higher education or not and to claim otherwise is just preposterous. Sorry but it is.

When I asked you about the question about you don't caring about 25 year women, I was just curious about your train of thought. Which is the only reason I have asked the question.

Lets cut to the chase Amilla. Are you telling me you're pretty and have big hips? I don't believe it. I need proof.

It can be done and i know plenty of people who have, you just gotta be flexible. Just make sure you don't end up like the millions of cadaan women going through midlife crisis because they chose a career instead of being mothers.

people don't have to choose between having a family and getting education but the timing is everything. I am not saying it should be done at the same time, and I know in most cases it can't be done. If you go to university at the age of 17 or 18 you can get your masters before the age of 24. Most Somali women don't get married until around that time anyways.

The caadaan women you speak of are the ones that get married in their early and late 30 not early 20s.

Alpha: I don't know what you speak of. I am not a racist. I might harbour some ill feeling toward certain clans but that can't be considered racism can't it? I think not.
