shaab_ im not defending any one but have you even thought that AY isnt ligher skin than sheikh shariif? and dadka somalida even in one family, you can find all shades of dark and fair skin?

walahi this is true: i used to think that hawiyeh are very dark skinned or maadhiin and when I saw hawiye cas-cas I expected them to have some other blood in them. I particularly had the opinion that murursade are very dark people and ugly. I do not know why. Then I realised that they are very light skinned. I also admit that every time I see a nice looking habar-gidir woman, i keep looking at her...possibly fighting back my prejudice

Light skinned has always been associated with beauty, heck some men and women go through extreme measures to achieve that sadly.
