Re: Why i know im Ahlul Bayt,
Eaglehawk there are 2 explanations for e1b1b1 occurrance amongst claiments of ahlulbayt
1) the frequent occurance of this haplogroup amongst quraish and bamu hashim due to arabs having multiple origins and frrquent adoption of clans
This explains why several well known ahlulbayt are e1b1b1
Example the qassimis of sharjah and ras al khayma
2)the fact that the concept of religoua geneology was common
with the imediate family and close followers of a shiekh or sufi murid
Uniting into one clan within a few generations.
And abubaker i repeat the duriya is private
Please stop boasting online

Abukar Subeer the Young Sufi,
Bro you're not Ahlul Bayt. Nobody alive today is. The only Ahlul Bayt to ever exist and will ever exist are the following:
- Nabi Muxamaed
- His wives
- His daughters
- His immediate grandchildren(Hasan, Husayn)
- Cali bin Abii Taalib
Those are the Ahlul Bayt mentioned in the Quran, according to the mufasireen. End of. Nobody else is Ahul Bayt. There is no Ahlul Bayt genetic marker. No Ahlul Bayt halo of light. No Ahlul Bayt 'special powers'. No Ahlul Bayt 'awliyaa-hood'.
This notion that Ahlul Bayt(ie, anybody who claims a link to Ali/Fatima) are somehow 'special' or 'blessed' is just another holdover from past religions/cultures, case-in-point: the veneration given to the Sassanid emperors of Persia where they were worshipped as living gods. After the defeat of the Sassanids, the Persians took up the cause of Husain and basically started worshipping him as a divinely-ordained Imam. Why Husain you might ask, and not his older brother Hasan? Because Husain married the daughter of the defeated Sasssanid emperor and had kids with her. Since those kids carried royal Sassanid blood, they too became divinely-ordained "Imams". Load o'crock, but thats where Ahul Bayt worship takes you.
Some of the most despicable people to ever live claimed to be Ahlul Bayt: The Fatimid empire soo akhri. And in more modern times, the Hashemite stooges ruling Jordan(ie, a creation of Colonial Britian). They actually have the best claim to be Ahlul Bayt as they've never left Mecca and can trace back their lineage directly to Ali/Fatima. Yet, they also played a critical role in the defeat of the Ottoman empire and were constantly, from the 1900's till today on the payroll of colonial powers. That's 'Ahlul bayt' sheegasho for you.
So yeah bro, 'bout time to retire this whole Ahlul Bayt romantic myth. Ina akramakum 3indallahi atqaakum

Re: Why i know im Ahlul Bayt,
Lol @ leftist, warkale sheeg. Kulaha there is no such thing as Ahlul Bayt, and this veneration is from the Sasannadi relics.
But brother you are correlating Shi'i doctrine with Sassanid doctrine. At first glance, you would think the persians who are are predominantly Shi'i and are the descendents of the Sasanadi empire, there would be that correlation. But you forget that for Persia's predominant history it has been a Sunni until about 1500 when it was forcefully converted into shi'ism by Ismail the First. Ahlul bayt by that time, were in many places in the muslim world, from both lines of Hassan and Hussein.

Re: Why i know im Ahlul Bayt,
Gurey,
I'm gonna make a statement and you're probably gonna disagree with it, but hear me out, ok?
Waxaan iri: Every positive development mankind(muslim ama gaal) has made since the dawn of written history is the product of left-wing idealogy.
before you yell "Objection!", barasho ka hor ha ii nicin. I'll start a thread "On the virtues of Socalism" after Ramadan. You'd be suprised how much we are in agreement.
Sahan,
There is no question that the Ottoman Empire was a corrupt entity that planted the seeds of it's own destruction. Notice that I didnt use the word khilaafah/caliphate, because it wasn't. It was a empire. A Turkish-Muslim empire. It had it's great moments(ie, liberation of Istanbul, railroad linking Medina to Quds/Shaam), and some pretty effed up ones(ie, Armenian genocide, oppression of non-Turkic people)
Still, none of that provides justification for Abdul-Aziz of House Saud and all the other Arab stooges(House Shareef, House Nahyan, House Sabah) to side with colonial powers. If they had beef with their fellow Muslim Ottomans, they should've settled in-house . Instead, they sold Muslim solidarity for a few pounds of gold, and stood by the sidelines as Britian and France carved up Shaam/Quds/ into little squabbling little states.

Re: Why i know im Ahlul Bayt,
Leftist,
The Armenian genocide was perpetrated by the Young Turks.
Imam al Mahdi will be born at the end of times, he will be a descendant of Rasullu'Allah saw. Unless you believe the shi'a doctrine that the Imam is hiding in a cave, you have to believe that Ahlul Bayt are around today. Allah aclam who they are, because I hardly believe that its as many as people claim.

Re: Why i know im Ahlul Bayt,
Leftist i have gone through all the isms and i have come a full circle to islam.
And dont be too hard on the arabs technically they did not rebell against the khalifa because as
Of 1908 when the young turks made their coup against sultan abdelhamid the last khalifa
The ottoman empire was run by the three pashas and every ob of them was an athiest or agnostoc
In other words kufaar.

Re: Why i know im Ahlul Bayt,
Reading past threads made me realize SNET has lost its diversity, we used to have men like Galol, Avowdely-atheist and others who would debate with muslims and It was a good debate indeed.
