The`Republic wrote:Baring some miracle of my candidate Dr. Bashir Nur Bidar winning , according to the latest information I received from Mogadishu, Mohamed Abdillahi Mohamed Farmaajo will be the first post-civil war president and the first legitimate president of Somalia since Siad Barre. Professor Jawaari will also be the first legitimate Speaker of Somalia since 1964.

During the past two days the man has shown he can play politics unprecedented without resorting to bribes and corruption.

-Last evening he concluded his latest meeting with the Isaaq parliamentarians and they have promised support
-Aasha Xaji Cilmi (HG/Saleebaan) one of the most powerful women in the new parliament has also on the same day held a meeting with the women who are considered his biggest supporters. Drs Amina Saciid (HG/Sacad) who organized the strong airport rception he received after the Kampala Accord is in charge of tallying the women vote for him
-The chairwoman of the Tayo Party Drs Maryan Qasim has also hosted a .5 meeting at her residence and has received strong turnout and promises of vote. Khadijo Diiriye (Yaxar) and former Minister under Abdullahi Yusuf is incharge of tallying votes
-On the same day he has tapped heavily into Abdiwali Gaas's supporters including strrenghtening the Darod base as well as other clans like Hawadle. His Education Minister Abdinuur is tallying these votes for him
-The Habar Gidir, Murusade and a number of the Hawiye vote are also on his block
-Jawari so far has 30 parliamentarians from the DM and they and more are expected to support Farmaajo in the presidential vote.Fiqi is in charge of tallying these votes for him

The man literally has the most diverse campaign and campaigners Somalia has ever seen

I know some will respond negatively for whatever reason but I will even ask this topic to be a sticky until election day soon. I am that sure this man is the presumptive winner.

Shit happens. This was more hope for Farmaajo than prediction. The predictions I was certain about came to fruition.

Faraxoos, I'm very happy with the results, there is nothing more that I hated than Sheikh Sharif coming back, but to top it off we got Xassan Sheikh as the new president. :stylin:

I don't think Farmaajo will be prime minister, but a new person altogether.

Faraxoos,

Wallahi I was not by any means 100% confident farmaajo would win i knew there would be competition. What I wanted was sakiin, dalxiis and abdiwali gone as president, pm and speaker respectively and so far 2 out of 3 happened. If all 3 happen I will be very happy
