Where is your proof that he stole anything? The monitoring group has no proof Sharif himself stole anything. Just accusations. I am sure you have been accused of doing something wrong and you didnt like it. We require facts and proof when you accuse someone of doing it. Staying in Somalia does make him a nationalist. He loves his country. He had the opportunity to go anywhere he wanted to but stayed. Sharif lived the middle class lifestyle in Somalia even before his UIC days. He was living very well off. He had the funds to move. The same cannot be said about 90% of the candidates

I never said he authorized it or asked for it to happen but he could have done something about it to stop it or reduce it. Maybe by paying the Somali National Army their wages on time and properly and trying to recruit more people into the army so that we don't need to keep depending on bantus who keep raping our women commun bruh I rather have the country in pieces then our women being raped by bantus and habashis and giving birth to ugly things.

I think most of us can agree that Sheikh Shariif doesn’t have the capabilities or the ambition to lead our country towards a better future. He is a good guy (don’t get me wrong) but a very weak president in my opinion.

I am really not slagging him off, but don’t we deserve someone with guts and determination to change this rotten predicament we’re in? Maybe I’m naïve but I really can’t imagine another four years with Sheikh Shariif maskiin at the helm…

Why are you all ignoring the men who are deciding this thing behind the scene? The so-called IC are the ones choosing who is going to be their men in Somalia, whether he is the president or PM. They have already chosen the Speaker of Parliament. This election is controlled, and the IC will choose someone who will carry their wishes.

Why don't you pray to Allah to ease the hardships Somalis are facing, instead of arguing about who is going to be the next IC's chosen-man?

I am hoping and praying the so-called End of Transition does not mean the End of Somalia. I am hoping and praying that this parliament will not sign-off Somalia's territorial waters and continental shelf.
