I denied it the first time. You decided to ignore it.

I don't have to persuade you. I just don't know where your curiosity and speculations are rooted.

Guys , i notice allot of you are using western labels like gay etc , for this phenomena when it has little to do with this.
there is a small percentage that are naturally inclined that way and its not anywhere near 10% due to genetics or hormone imbalances and there is a much larger percentage that have acquired this inclination through grooming.
But trust me the majority of men and women engaging in homosexual acts in Saudia are 100% straight.

You see for the average arabsexual orientation is meaningless, they are not homo, or bi, they are more like trysexuals.
as in they will try anything, and do anything.
They will bang anything that is alive and warm, be it a goat, a women, a girl a boy or a man.

The social system encourages this behavior and there is little punishment and deterrence for it.
If a girl and boy are caught in the act , it is the end of the world for saudis, if it 2 men or 2 girls its nothing, no big deal.

so you see its not a choice between zina and homosexuality, for saudis it is
a choice between chastitiy and homosexuality

Because on a per capita basis, I bet there is more sexual perversion(criminal or consensual) going on in Saudi than Bangkok or Amsterdam. Why is that?
  @ asking for evidence on a completely baseless conjecture
This is why this guy is not worth my time, he spews his opinions as facts without evidence and expects you to believe his bs. Where does he get his so called data, out of his ass I guess...

Granpa i agree with him, this is why i advise you to only go to Saudia for Haj or ummrah, dont stay any longer and for gods sake do not go there to study,
or when your fellow student at a religious school grabs your ass and tries to kiss you, or even if your teacher trys it as well.
you may freak out and leave islam.

too much fate in saudis like you have is dangerous for your imaan,

i am looking out for you.

dont just believe me, investigate first, ask family members that lived there or stayed for a while,
and coaxs it out of them, it is embarassing so people will try to hide it, but it is
just like Leftist said, gay sex is as common as bf/gf relationships in US high schools.

I "AM"..... glad u r so passionate on the subject of homosexuality. I think the world is changing. 10 years ago--somalinet was not even ready to admit homosexuality exists--while I was preaching to the church. Today, somalineters like u, and others who were militantly anti gay--- are discreetly coughing and whispering---yes, gay exist--and more than that--- they go along to confess in one way or the other-- a personal homosexual act they have engaged in, even though we have to read hard between the lines. :dj:

I say, bravo bravo---somalinet--u have come so far. :dj:

lol

basra anyone can see you are the only one obsessed with the subject..
you are confusing me with others, i have never denied this human condition, i see it as a n illness a mental illness,
so i am not as vehemently anti-gay as others are..
i mean why get upset about a mental patient? why beat up a crazy person and execute them?

i believe they should be contained and treated if possible, and isolated from society.

and basra since you are so much into this subject you will be glad to hear that, this behaviour is on the downward trend in the UAE.
20 to 30 years ago segregation was almost as intense as in saudia and this behavior was rampant in the schools.
about 10-15 years ago there was a change in the country, there was a massive increase in the birth rate and for some reason it skewed the demographics towards the female side, this was probably combined with a more loosening of restrictions, and suddnely there was a flood of the women, local arab women that is.
When i was in high school, i was in a private british school that was not segretaed and the ratio was close to 1:1 slightly more girls than boys,
but it was rare to see a local arab women ( Emarati) outside.
it was more common to see lebanese , syrian, egyptian, british , indian women.
and this was from 1980 till 97.
I left for Australia and 7 years later, i see a flood of emarati women, everywhere you go.

after allot of candid interviews, i came to the conclusion that there is allot more heterosexual sex going on, and a homosexuals are rare .
the local emaratis are spoilt for choice, there are tens of thousands of young professional emarati women, who drive and have mobile phones and today Blachberries etc..
and there are thousands more from other nationalities to date..

if you ask me there is too much hetero sex going on for s supposedly muslim and conservative society..

on the otherhand when it comes to lesbians, in high schools and universities, it is as rampant as Saudia.

The locals dont really care if their daughter has a girlfriend, or if her girlfriend looks and dresses like a man.
They will marry her off in an arrange marriage, so who cares, its not even an embarrassment and they flaunt it openly in the streets.
There is even a name for this, Booya..

i am not scientist to analyze home sexual and rape. little to do with being saudi, arab or even religion. there is people who dont believe religion and wouldnt rape any one.

my guess is as good as any one else. but what i seen in courts ( i dont like to put much thoughts, waha la yiri, iyo ean maqlay) in their mind when they questioned, they think homosex lesser than sex with opposite sex and believe it or not the also courts rules just that.

you confirmed it, thats what i said.
society sees it as less of an issue than with the opposite sex.
talk about priorities!!!
