I am trying to fit in more hobbies like walking, cooking & Baking , videography, reading etc

I have bad short-term memory bro, which is both a blessing and a curse in these situations

I've read the series prolly like 5 times already. My mind just purges itself of most of the details of stories/movies soon after though, which means that when I pick it up again it's brand new

Does it get better after Dune Messeiah? Cuz I thought it went down hill after the first book, and didn't bother reading God Emporer of Dune

None of them come close to touching the first book from what I remember.

Bought the first book of Dune a few years back. Have read about 30 pages and haven't continued since. I don't know why, but I just can't get into sci-fi for some reason.

Bro if you get past the first third or so you won't regret it. You'll have to refer to the glossary a lot as well to get you up to speed though. It's more of a tale of the intertwining of religion, politics and ecology than straight up sci-fi so you might still dig.

I like the dynamics between the two rival houses (forgot what they were called now) as well as the stuff about a life-enhancing spice resource. But I've got the attention span of a seagull. Unless its a nonfiction, if a book doesn't grab me right away I tend stop caring.
