Re: What are you reading this week?
I got the writer's autograph finally on my book(The Amazing Story Of Quantum Mechanics) through someone who knew him and was good friends with him.
The book came back to me today with the autograph. Awesome. The note said:
To (insert my name)
Welcome to the real world of tomorrow.

^ I read The Alchemist by the same writer around 2007/2008. Beautiful book. Let me know how this turns out after you finish before I buy. A mystical book and a dream chaser as a character, I traveled with the boy in that book from the beginning to the end. A page turner for me back then.

I found this book in my brothers room. Not sure if I should be worried or I was suppose to 'accidentally' stumble on it.

The only reason why I bought it was because I liked The Alchemist. I'll tell you if it's worth the money inshallah.Reacher wrote:^ I read The Alchemist by the same writer around 2007/2008. Ismaaciil, You do that. Thanks.

You are a female? You should have squared with your brother before you shared the info with us. It is a troubling find.

Re: What are you reading this week?
Thanks ladies and gentlemen for adding your choices. Reading is a good habit. I noticed someone reading a book with the title "Love Minus Eighty" On my metro ride yesterday evening. I made a mental note to amazon the book later at home but forgot. So, this morning when I showed up for work, the office geek was reading a book, as usual, his face hidden behind a thick text-book size hardcover. He reminded me what I wanted to do last night; Amazon the book I saw its title. And I did.
Not bad. I might give a try this book and will let you know inshallah after I read it.
This review below sold me the book:

"By San Diegan (Boston) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Love Minus Eighty (Kindle Edition)
I don't give 5 star reviews due to sock puppets, so this is real (and I'm not a sock puppet). This novel made me think about the future in a new way. Take Facebook, plus papparazi, plus famous nonentities like Paris Hilton (remember her?), and extrapolate forward 100 years. Technology continues its rush toward remote social interaction. Life gets considerably more complex; the rich find new and better ways to stay away to live in their own castles.
On top of the interesting technical and social extrapolation is a cute semi-comedy about falling in love with the wrong people. There are about 5 major characters, and several of them are very well done. (Much much better, frankly, than the norm in science fiction.) I really came to care about them."
