Hawd reserve area was an entire territory a big territory giving to Ethiopia in the late 1940s it was loosely under British administration but Haile selase was given that territory the whole reason why Somaliland united with Somalia to get that territory the SNL leaders in 1950s thought the only way we can get back that territory if we make a union with Mogadishu, they regret it when in 1960 independence was achieved in Somaliland across the border in Ethiopia Suldaan timma cade poems were being listened and the Isaaqs in the hawd were hoping for independence to.
