I actually think it'll be good if the Somalian parliament strikes it down
The talks will be closer to collapse
Here's to it being struck down soon

The hawiye led government has no opposition in the parliament. Voltage future governments and what not bu ka sheekeynaya

Fixed

If that is the case why does the Parliament then go and shoot down all the Turkey meetings including the forcing the government to ask for ratification on anything they sign there. Remember how your little flight control will be in Hargeisa and this is how we will share international aid money concessions you got from Dam Jadiid was shot down the next day in Parliament. The Speaker then said according to the vote, the government signed nothing in Turkey.
The reality is Somaliland has good negotiating partner because Dam Jadiid is desperate to make domestic legacy. Remember how easily they signed the Addis Ababa agreement. These guys are willing to compromise.
The overwhelming number of Parliamentarians (whether Darod, Hawiye, Others, Rahanweyn, etc) are not in such a hurry to pat Somaliland's head. To the Parliament, maslaxad/reconciliation between Darod and Hawiye matters more than Isaaq and Somalia reconciliation. No one, especially Hawiye wants to talk about the civil war and what lead to it and deal with sensitive issues.
This treaty is a non-starter. They don't have the mandate to sign anything President Barre committed anything but his understanding of protecting Somalia's integrity.

Sxb I don't care for Damjadiid and whatever other acronyms hutu people come up with.
My political concern as of now is the immediate collapse of these talks.
Boon and other members of the faqash race in working to glorify their kacaan regime and blocking the
resolution in parliament serves my interest

The airspace agreement is endorsed and in 45 days they set up the committed waloo fadhiyaa 3 on each sides
The rest of the so called agreements are just talks about talks , budhcad badeed iskaashi iyo waxaas wa sheekooyin gogool xaadh ah
But the airspace agreement was reaffirmed in the last agreement
Voltage u cant stop damuljadiid in the parliament their policies are law these days u have farax topaz as the constitutional minister
The god father of Damuljadiid
Gaalka cad koley ka sharaf badan gaalka madow eeh Somalia jooga.

It is your Government which is forced in to these talks ...it has been
our policy since the days of Cigaal.
We only need to make the case that the other side is unreasonable
and the mediation comes

They already condemned siad bare the agreement was signed by your minister the president of Somalia welcomed the agreement, if you believe a parliament will stop the SL and Somalia agreement for u awaits a rude awakening , Damuljadiid maslaxada darood kama shaqeyso , they are the same people who send goobaale and seeraar to Kismayo, i dont think they care much about the sensitivity of the civil war. Who told you the government in Somalia dont have the mandate they are your legal representatives of Somalia , cali khalif galaydh tried to bring forward a case against the Somalia and Somaliland agreement of last year he was told the STFU voltage saaxib i dont think meesha barlamaan ku ilaalisa ba jirta Voltage waxaad ku fiicnan lahayd inad dhaliyaro ahaan lahayd xiligi kacaanka xaalku xaalki maha adeer.

Khalid, what I don't think you understand is how Dam Jadiid/Guuleed Interior guy THEMSELVES will back down if Darod resist that treat. The talks have been non-controversial so far. If controversy opens up among Darod and Hawiye due to the nature of the talks, Dam Jadiid/President will be the last people who will want that. I am sorry but reconciliation with you is second to reconciliation between Darod and Hawiye in Somalia. The talks are a formality...the government loses nothing talking to you. The minute it feels it loses by wading into sensitive civil war issues among Darod and Hawiye is when shit gets real.
Already Beesha Sade has began the heavy flashback to resist the treaty and many Darods will feel compelled to join making it a wedge issue. There are many avenues to prevent Abdikarim Guleed/Dam Jadiid from thinking they have the right to agree to what they want. Preventing the issue from becoming tribalized is one of them. Watch how they change their tone once the controversy spreads. Hassan Sheikh is very open to Marehan concerns and he knows what controversy means. If it forms, the government may even want the Parliament to refuse the treaty giving Dam Jadiid excuse to back out of controversy while saying they are willing to talk to Somaliland but Parliament doesn't want certain things. It's exactly what happened with the air control thing.

So much bullshit in one post. Reconciliation with Isaaq? What's this reconciliation you're talking about? If you didn't know the regime resorted to State Terrorism and the atrocities committed in Somaliland were solely governmental. It had nothing to do with clans as in ''civil war'', even though Darood used the Somali military against another clan to settle old scores.
When it comes to the talks between Somaliland and Somalia, I hope your parliament derails the talks and the agreements making your government look like it's uncompromising, eventually that will lead to international mediation and by then it will be to late for your government to do anything about this issue.

is this guy Republican for real.
I can assure you that your useless parliament will not even debate about the issue let alone kill it.
But if your delusion magically comes true, which I wish, and your parliament rejects the agreement, we will only benefit from that.

The audacity
Barre was a dictator who committed atrocities in the North, agreed upon, sealed and signed. Nobody is going to change their tone for anyone, least of all the government for the ridiculous sentiment of some Marehans

and frankly speaking, no Daarood or anybody else for that matter has the spine to ever counter argue any vilification of Siad Barre in a Somali parliament in Muqdisho, can't believe you're even saying that
