Only a simpleton would reply with that.
Compare how many Arabic & Swahili/Zulu words are borrowed that have helped create the Somali language.

LOL. the somali language is unique in its own right. arabic did not help create it. all the arabic words somalis use are loan words that came about for obvious reasons. arabs are just across the red sea and there is a long history of trade. it would make sense that some of their words would come into our language.

for every arabic word somalis use, there is a native somali word that can be used instead. thus, arabic did not create anything about the somali language.

@Starkast - How many words have the English borrowed from the French? Latin? Dutch?

Somali is a unique language with some loan words from Hindi, Arabic, Latin, Swahili, etc...
