your confusing yourself with culture and religion......what they're doing is a cultural issue and should be addressed within their communities.
no one has hijacked the religion...its the media who puts the negative biased things into all of your heads....by showing the craziest of ppl and say this is what defines being a muslim.
as for Arabic, yes its important that ppl should try and learn it but if not then that's fine too..i don't see anything wrong with not knowing it.. that's why we're all different.
