All this indicates to me that Jews at the time of Jesus and Moses had Mediterranean complexions, possibly many with a red tinge to the hair. Egyptians painted Nubians black and themselves a light but redder color than the Semites.
have you ever seen those political cartoons somalis make of themselves? or how about the pictures the ethiopians have in their churches? Somalis and Ethiopians also draw themselves with reddish skin. Eventhough most of our people are black. I wouldn't take representation in art as self-fufilling.

Also you gotta remember who the Nubians were. They were pretty much the ancestors of the modern day dinka and other nilotic speaking peoples. Those are probably the blackest people on earth. So black that you could put a dinka beside any cushtic speaker or bantu speaker and they would make them look light skin.

The Ancient Egyptians looked like us. They looked like the Oromo. They looked like the other cushtic speaking peoples of the horn. Minus the partial non-African ancestry we've acquired over the last thousand years.

The ancient egyptians were not black at all but a light skinned africans abit darker than the berbers however, from 13 to 15 dynasties to the roman era they were not africans like the hyksos who motivated the migration of the semitic tribes and the invasion of the assyrians and persians

For this reason the egyptians of today are middle eastreners.

If the egyptians were black they wouldn't call their southren adjoining tribes "ethiopians"

This is the reason why the greek translator of the bible has made such big error by translating the word kush into "ethiopian" wich means black because the greek historians knew these black tribes south of egypt aka al sudan wich is nowadays afro-arabs.

Ancient egyptians self-portrait: I see only one black man!. Nubian, egyptian, semitic and berber(much lighter)

Studies have proven that the berber language is a mix of egyptian/beja and anatolian(amazon/sea people)!

The funny thing is if you listen to the berber coastal music like qistantiniya its kinda of turkish music!

Pre-daynastic egyptians, the horn and beja are genetically related but what makes much difference is their different mtdna.

Well its all about perceptions at the end of the day, while you perceive asmaranis as normal Middle easterners, I see them as black. And I'm not denying the fact that Egyptians saw themselves different to the Nubians, cuz these guys were pure black, I don't know anyone that wouldn't see themselves different.
