The standard somali language used in the media and books is spoken by HG from Galgaduud/southern Mudug. Darood in gobolada dhexe have their own distinguishable feminine accent. Isma laha bahasha.

western parts of the Somali areas, i.e. Somali galbeed, became the benchmark for
the form of language in school textbooks and broadcasting. These dialects are spoken
by a large number of Somalis, and are understood and spoken by other Somalis, even
though their own dialect belongs to a different dialect group

I'll make it easier for those that still fail to understand. "Mudug Somali" is the Somali most likely to be understood by all Somalis

Southern dialect has too many Italian words, that is why it has not been selected.

As far as I know Mudug dialect is part of the Xamari dialect.
Just like Galbeed dialect is part of the Waqooyi dialect.

Nothing beats a thick qawdhan accent. Particularly a reer Burco one. It is undoubtedly the best accent there is.

Most of the written Somali comes from Gobolada dheexe=Mudug,Galgaduud\parts of hawd, I have never heard of reer Waqooyi being the official accent, let's not argue for the sake of it.


As for the Galbeed accent, you are clearly in need of some lessons in Somali accents, Galbeedkad sheegeysid adigu waa Borame iyo Gabiley mindha, but the real Galbeed is Kiliinka Shanad, and they have their own unique accent.
