Actually the deen doesn't give women the responsibility of cooking and cleaning, therefore it's not waajib or even close, it's an act of charity on her half. She should have shaqalo or the man should do it himself.Warsheekh wrote:this.AbdiJohnson wrote:Crazy women of today.BlackVelvet wrote:Marring a woman so she can cook and reproduce, did not see that one coming
So you want to keep your entire income for yourself and make him pay for all the expenses but you have a problem with those sucker men to expect their wives to cook and reproduce?
If you're not helping at all, what's the point? The men have become suckers. I bet you that guy OP is talking about is paying all the bills
I am,
Abdi "Somali girls today are useless" Johnson
I don't get feminists like BV for reals. A man and a women got responsibilities. Diintu waxey leedahay the man is responsible for paying the bills and providing for the family. Naagta waajibka saaran waxaa waaye to take care of the kids and cook even if the women works she can do whatever she want for her cash. She aint responsible for paying bills, food and all that. So if BV is against taking care of kids and cooking dee marka rules ka diinta bey kaso hor jeeda.
However if she wants to be part of paying all the bills and shit then it's fair if her man cooks and takes care of the kids as well.

Naag aan ilmo rabin maxu ku falaya? advo if you're his real friend ninka naagta ka fur, I'm usually against in la dheex galo dadka is qabo, laakin this case waa emergency.

Fudeedka jooji.
As for the topic, Advo only shared the guy's side of the story here. Lets not all act like marriage counsellors. For any of you to be a judge in this situation, you will need to hear the two sides of the story.

You should tell him '"it's her job to cook, clean and serve him! Women have no rights, they were placed in this earth to serve men, cook and clean. Women are not allowed to be thinking!!"Advo wrote:i knew it was coming but I didn't expect it this soon!
Some one who is not me (SWIM) married a girl from another state, they dated while he was going to school there. They had off and on relationship but after he suddenly got a good paying job, she agreed to his marraige proposal. SWIM had to cough up insane amount of money when it was said and done. Everything was good for a while but it seemed like something was off recently . I noticed SWIM eating out more than usual (chipotle, teriyaki, pizza, frequent trips to the store)
I pretended I saw nothing. Then SWIM comes to me for an advice (like im in a position to give one lol) but he just wanted to vent. So SWIM tells me she rarely cooks and worse off all, doesnt want to have kids any more.
Im just listening as SWIM calaacals......I told him in a nice way I could not give him any useful advise, and suggested SWIM talks to his people if things don't approve.
My question is, what would u do as a guy (taking what he said as face value)
?
Truly one would think Farah would evolve by now. Tell SWIM to go home and bloody cook for his wife a decent meal! Tell him he needs to prove that he is able to look after her and their kids if she chooses to be a mother.
