That's what is wrong with Western cultures and their abuse of stimulants. You should only drink 1 cup of coffee a day, and if you are still tired after that focus on getting proper rest, whether it's all at night or through naps.

Native Americans didn't get lung cancer from smoking tobacco because there was ceremony to it, it was spiritual. Indigenous peoples chewing coca leaves aren't addicts because it is used to aid in back breaking work. The best example (for this forum) of losing the tradition behind a stimulant adversely affecting a population is khat abuse. When you remove cultural constraints for the appropriate use of stimulants, you open the door to a culture of abuse. http://www.psychiatrictimes.com/article ... -treatment
Very valid points. I will cut back to 1 cup

It is addictive, if I don't drink coffee, i get a bad headache by early afternoon. I take too sips and my headache is gone. Ramadan is the best time to quit. You will go through withdrawal symptoms for the first few days, and you are good to go.

I quit tea used to have like 6/7 or more cups a day but ever since going to the middle east they made me hate tea. Their teas are disgusting and black only. Now when I look at tea I remember that experience and it makes me feel nauseous. Also quit fizzy drinks, used to have like 3 a day.

BV, I didn't wanna quit but last year I had a health issue and was down for long time. I figured out all that junk food and sugary products I was filling my body with did serious damage to my immune system. I had hard time fighting the common cold. So i decided to nip it in the butt before it could pose a real threat in the future.

25 should be the age people focus on their health, we are not getting younger.

I read a quote that said:

"Before thirty, men seek disease; after thirty, disease seeks men."

You ain't lied walle, we gotta fight against our desires. I don't enjoy making green smoothies but the benefit outweighs the bitter taste.
