I'm always reminded by people on this forum that Kenyan Somalis are "second class" citizens in their own country. But isn't it surprising that although I'm a second class citizen, I'm treated with more respect than if i would be a first class citizen in Somalia? For in Kenya, when there is a problem or violence in my county, people from every other county will rise up and demand answers. What happens if i were in Somalia, people will use my misfortune to laugh at my clan; I saw a thread sometime back that (i think Evol had started,) where she was celebrating a book event in Hargeisa, and a positive thread was turned into a Qabilist thread. How many American spies were in that thread? What was the role of Africom in pulling down Somaliland with the crab mentality?

Africans are their own worst enemies. Somalis like TheMailMan think that they are better than other Africans, based on backward glances of 200 years ago and two-a-penny myths.

People here call other people Adoon, while calling themselves Muslims, they even run around trying to portary themselves as better people than their fellow somalis based on their physical features, and yet they have the audacity to take the moral high ground when talking about a largely atheist community that seems to treat other black folks better than they are treated back home.

My point is that no matter how you put it, black people running to Israel suffer greater injustice from their own people, than they do from people of Jewish decent.
