Most of the houses in the downtown of American cities look like this. Actually, there is this neighborhood in this city that I live where the houses are exact replica of the ones shown above; however, because it is mostly Jewish neighborhood, these small houses in this neighborhood are very expensive, the area is very clean, and the elementary and middle schools in this neighborhood are the best in this city.

Bottom line, it is not the size of the house or it looks, but how the people who live in that neighborhood or city maintain it.

The picture he posted is average semi-detached house in London, most of the houses are like a variation of this, Victorian style, and it says little about the persons financial situation. As usually it is where the house is located, some areas it is dirty, dangerous and just bad in general, other areas it is quite, clean with expensive cars parked. In Scandinavia, at least in the big towns, most people live in flats, again it is just the way most people live and it doesn't say much about the financial status of a person, yet it is very clean and safe unless it is in a bad area. It is the people who decide if the environment will be good or bad.

you only know the financial status of a person once you step inside their house, only a few can afford mansions in London, it is too expensive.
