I dont know what the hell is dji doing in a list of somali regions, dont you know that it compromises of two ethnicities and that the afar part of the country is bigger than the isse part. Even for the sake of comparison its enough that you cant travell at night in any somali region for the lack of lights!

In the north they have peace wich is instrumental for any livelihood....however, a foreigner cant walk there without hiring security guard that says much about their fragile institutions

Economically the south is better and there r northern families who migrate to the south bc not less than $500 is enough for them per month in the north

I can say somaliland though not achieving a lot based on its 25 years of political experience is way better than the rest interms of governance and security
