Am not promoting wearing Somali traditional cloths in the west, you are intentionally are derailing the topic, my objection is the foreign influence of Arabs and Afghanis that is promoted by the mullahs and their groupies.
But you are in cahoot with the foreign influence of Irish and Danish promoted by the missionaries and their groupies... Right?

How am I trolling?

You wear western clothes because its universal, right?

What's wrong with khamiis cad iyo cumaamad worn by our PROPHET (SAW)......SAHAABAH....IMAAMS AND CULIMA?

If western attire is universal clothing for everyday life and you accept it "because you live in the west" ( eventhough you still wear them when you go back home)....why is it such a crime to wear khamis cad iyo cumaamad that says MUSLIM and is worn all over the muslim world?

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. However, since you won't take it I will have to educate you. There's so much wrong with that I don't know where to start.

Western clothes are universal because of colonialism and westernisation. Contrary to what you mighty believe I do actually enjoy wearing my traditional Somali clothes whenever I can. But back on topic, western clothes are ubiquitous, hence why it isn't seen as strange or out of the ordinary for non-western people to wear them. Blame Somalis (and other muslims) for elevating the clothes of cadaans to normalcy.

With regards to arab/asian dress - It is not sunnah, nor is it mandatory for a muslim to wear the clothes of an arab i.e. khamiiz, thawb, umamad, abaya/dishdaasha cigaal etc.

Secondly, the prophet's clothing was different to what modern arabs wear today. Syrians, Iraqis, Lebanese, Jordanians, Moroccans etc. all have different clothes and dresses. Are all of them Sunnah? Which is more Sunnah than the other?

Also, since when was a shalwar kameez part of sunnah? :wtf:

I think you are just arguing for the sake of it. You cannot be this hopelessly stupid.
So you have no issue with the colonial legacy and western clothing but vehemently oppose traditional Islamic Attire?

Of course he won't, he won't dare wearing that picking up his welfare check. When it comes to money and sunnah Somalis chooses the former , they wear these colorful mumu dress for eye sore.

No one here asked you to stop wearing western clothes.
But since you have an issue with traditional Islamic clothing, can you explain why that should bother you?

You mean traditional Gulf Arab clothing? There is no such thing as traditional 'Islamic' clothing, despite what Gulf Arabs and their Arabophile followers would have us believe.

The khamis is the traditional Islamic clothing.

If you don't like it (the same away you don't like reer hebel) , you don't have to like it.

But then again.....

Khamiis was the reason the last regime failed.
Khamis was the reason civil war happened.
Khamis was the reason behind clan blood bath.
Khamils is the reason Somaliland said f#@k you to the South.
Khamis is the reason why Puntland followed and gave the finger to muqdisho.
Khamis brought foreign troops to Somalia.
Khamis whispered to Somali elders to sell their soul to Ethiopia and Kenya.
Khamiis is the reason for tahliib.
Khamis is number one problem for somalis filling up western prisons.
Khamis cause drought and famine.

Isku soo wada duub and khamis is where somali problems begin.
