The government hasn't stopped duulimaadkii between Hargeisa iyo Xamar or any city in Somalia.
What it had said is, SL is still part of Somalia, and it wouldn't allow Somalis traveling to Hargeisa to get visa.
Why would a Somali need to get a Visa to goto Hargeisa?
Mida labaad, if SL was a recognized country, than yea, u would need a Visa to enter it.
The government just said, fine, we would just close everything and notify all agencies related to travel and everyone would now be required to show an Official passport.
There is a UN office in Hargeisa, where people including their politicians could get an Official Somali passport....that too is closed.
So now the Qaldaans would have to come to Mogadishu to get one.
LooL since what they call 'passport' isn't accepted outside of Hargeisa, Burco, and Berbera.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

I think it's separate issues; we are trying to issue residence IDs to all people including the Oromos that live in Somaliland. It doesn't mean that rer Somalia can't stay and do business. This is good for 1. Making sure all residents are ID'd and counted 2. Ensure that no one tries any funny business (like argagaxiso). I think it's reasonable if I as a citizen is subjected to it that everyone else is also. In addition, rer Djabouti who come to Somaliland to escape the heat also pay money, yet we don't hear them protest.GAMES wrote:The government hasn't stopped duulimaadkii between Hargeisa iyo Xamar or any city in Somalia.

Somalis from Somalia need to stop taking things too personal. It simply means Somaliland is exercising authority over areas under its control as does Mogadishu.
No one is being denied or hunted down. If you guys want to about authorities abusing Somalis, look at Kenya. They routinely crack down on Somalis and hold them ransom. Your priorities are all wrong my fiends. Somalida kale ayuu baa wax la idiin saaray.
Car Somalia ha u dooda xuquuqda dad Somalida ee South Africa lagu dooxanayo, kuwa Kenya ay ku leynayso Gedo. They won't, because Somalia anagu uunbay shafka noo garaacataa. It's sad really.
