Waryaa Ramzy,, ninyahow you're too emotional for this place. I ain't denying anyone's history, man. I mean who am I to deny a written history?

But brother you guys are really pushing it too hard for this Habar Magaadle claim. Seriously, Rooble Waliid's research is much closer to the one documented in those archives than your claim. That is my view.

On my end, I am going to study the clans in that area and found out if there's any clans called Habr Maqdi. As you can see Gerri Koombe were clearly shown. So if 'g' of Gerri was mentioned, I can't understand why Habar Magaadle wasn't mentioned?

Coming back to Harti and Marrexaan, we were clearly mentioned. Even today, the descendents of those mujahidiin are still in Baabuli and other places where the Jihad was taking place. Even Jiiraan Koombe and Baalcad Absame were also mentioned. Many other Somalis.and other Muslims had huge part in it.

Ok to put it long story short: We were all part of it. How about that? :D

Ok give a rest we all know habar magaale or magaado never heard of this makidor but pretty sure there numbers were insufficient to join a battle of that magnitude or scale so your theory is based on misinterpreted alphabet letter thats supposely in a translated text that is not going fly try harder next time.

Makidor funny name.

Do you read Arabic? if yes, then start reading from the red underlined sentence , it clearly says Ahmed gurey bin husain al somali from هبر مقدى was the first tribe to join the imam ahmad in his call for jihad....r u blindly going to deny this as usual..!!

but,if u don't read arabic then thats ur own problem and dont make stupid judgement based on ur ignorance.

Harti..!!....looool.....u denying to involve habar magdi/maqdi/magad which war clearly mentioned several times and blatantly inject harti in the jihad... :Heh:

the only name that resembles harti in the book is xarti حرتى ...again the same dilema faces by rooble faces u, how the name is written in arabic and ur somali name are different....harti starts with '' H'' corresponding in arabic '' haa' ها like in Huda as an example...but in the arabic text it uses the letter ''X' in somali or ''ح '' like in Ximaar  , the name mentioned in the book is حرتي not هرتي ........not to forget the last letter in Harti is '' i '' and thats another story with the ى is meant by 'Ii'' or '' AA'' as the yaa in arabic denoted with 2 dots below the lette like حرتي , which is not the case here in حرتى .

as for the marexan...yes they are mentioned, I wont deny that but are the the same marexan of the darood u mean or different tribe with the same name, because marexan darood claim to be from hashimi and somali fathers but this marexan leader xirabu bin guita bin tederos have a pure non somali abtiris with no arabic name except Adem ..!! :notsure:

anyhow also can deny that they only done so after the imam put a man hunt warrant after their leader Xirabu bin Guita bin tederos bin Adem...حرابوا بن جيوتا بن تيدوروس بن ادم .( WHAT KIND OF A SOMALI NAME IS THIS..!! TRY TO TYPE TEDEROS IN GOOGLE AND ALL U GONA FIND IS XABASHI SONGS AND LINKS.. :ohhh: )...this xirabo guy put up some weak excuse for not joining the jihad and the imam told him'' no good is expected out of you''.

Probably got their hopes up when they saw a wrong translation on the Habr Maqdi/ Habr Maqdr/Makdr. Luckily the real Habr(Makdr) has been added as a annotation to the book. The wrong translations probably had no clue about a Habr Makadur.

Indeed as you stated I have everything backing me.

A Gadabursi child grows up with stories of Ahmed Guray and him being from his clan a Habar Magaadle doesn't, neither do their elders have any account of the wars or are they closely related to the Geri Koombe who were part of the wars.

Neither is the Habr Maqdi mentioned in the book from their areas, but from the Harar Valley.

And what are the numbers of the Geri and Barsuuq today. You probably never heard of Gurgurah too and they joined the war. The ones who joined lost thousands of men.

How is it a dilemma my friend I am in the Futuh Al Habasha : Conquest Of Abyssinia BOOK.

Image

As for the Xarti or Harti it's one letter and their location from where they came proves it to being Harti. In the book they are mentioned as the people of "Mait" which were probably called upon by the Geri (Koombe) of which the Harti are the same Koombe clan.

While Habr Maqdi/Makida (Makidor) is from the Harar Valley of the Gadabursi Country.

Image

I have enough to back me up.

-Archelogical finds.
-Abtirsi
-Locality
-Relationship with the Geri clan.
-Upbringing of the Gadabursi youngsters on the history of Ahmed Guray
-My elders know about the wars, while yours don't.
-We always knew his subclan of the Habr Makidor and it has never been forgotten.

From Harar Valley to Zeila. We know who Habr Maqdi/Makida is in the book

This is why Pankhurst supported the Habar Makidor/Maqdr/Makadur.

And because in no way possible could Makida/Maqdi been a confusion of Magaadle.

What Magaadi stop begging it. It's listed as Maqdi and Makida.

Where is the i in Magaadle or the k and the q. They didn't confuse a k and q with the Geri Gorgorah and many other tribes.

Maqdi and Makida are closer to Makidor/Maqr.

Plus open the book and see what clan is mentioned underneath the page.
