I know that the Reer Aw Qudub legged it to the Oromo borders and now congregate around Raaso but from what I heard, the ones called Xeer in Northern K5 are the Surre sub sub subclans called Fiqi Kheyr and Fiqi Yaxye. The Sheekhal are Aw and the two of us never formed a Wadaad confederation. I was previously under the assumption they lived in Qoraxay Zone and in the Sheegosh/Qabridahar region but as Xayle pointed out, they appear to settle in the Dhanan area too.
