even the famous Abwaan Maxamed Cali Kaariye I think is from this area because his daughter was married to a reer Warfaa guy from Shaygoosh he was murdered by the Tigrais together with an other respected elder also from Shaygoosh in Qabridahare sometime in the mid 90s

oh my bad Zumaale sorry I thought u were asking about the Sheekhaash still yes Xer do indeed settle in Shaygoosh and around Qabridahar im not too sure about Dhanaan but Xaliye knows better. I know that the Reer Aw Qudub legged it to the Oromo borders and now congregate around Raaso but from what I heard, the ones called Xeer in Northern K5 are the Surre sub sub subclans called Fiqi Kheyr and Fiqi Yaxye. The Sheekhal are Aw and the two of us never formed a Wadaad confederation. I was previously under the assumption they lived in Qoraxay Zone and in the Sheegosh/Qabridahar region but as Xayle pointed out, they appear to settle in the Dhanan area too.
