when oromos migrate, 9 times out of 10, it's because of oppression. not due to hunger. yes, later on, they maybe forced to beg in your places if they have no job there, no way to earn income, and no families, but they are fleeing death and destruction, not because oromia cannot feed them. please remember that oromia is the bread basket of ethiopia, the region that the entire country depends on, for the most part, for its food. oromia can feed somalia, ogadenia, puntland, and everyone, if her land were utilized properly. 60% of oromia, if not more, is arable land, that can yield a lot of crops. but due to severe oppression, supported by external forces (the west) and internal forces (somali political elites support tplf against oromos, please do not forget this!), the oromo refugees flee. to anywhere, that can at least be somewhat safe.
i personally blame oromo leaders first for this. if they got their act together, and tried to arm their people to fight back against our habasha enemies and oppressors, our people would not have to migrate anywhere. our people would much rather die for their freedom, under the umbrella of an organized oromo army, than die or be targeted while seeking refuge elsewhere.
they would just pick up a gun and head to the nearest WBO training camp. WBO=Warrana Bilisumaa Oromo or oromo liberation army.
