Aw-Rasta. I remember back in the 90s The clans of Akisho, Jaarso, Bursuq, Nole, Gurgura were all claiming of being Somalis, even the whole region was called Hararge during derg era including Harar and D/dawa. The Hararis who (never claimed to be somali) were more inclined toward Somalis rather than Oromos.
I believe the collapse of Somali republic revived the Oromo's long time dream of recapturing their "so called ancestral lands" hence the frequent attacks and land-grabs. Jaarso and Nole being, Somalised Oromo, joined at their Original roots, and jumbed on Oromo band-wagon, and i might fear the rest may soon follow suit had they not get Somali support. Akishe, and Gurgura are currently Oromised. Geri are fighting back. Gadabursi, thinking they are exempt, would soon realise the fact they're not.
Issa had been holding their line of defence for a while against Afars and Oromos, now, their city Diri-dhabe is up for grabs.
I agree with you about the resettlement of Somalis from mainland to see the reality on the ground instead of their inner fighting.

You don't get the point. What i meant is no Somali will feel the circumstances of Somalis in Ethiopia until they live in it, and see it with their own eyes, then they may appreciate what they are missing. Right now Somalis in Somalia are living a life of first class citizens hence the infighting.
Right now Garre, in mooyaale, are not only fighting with Oromo but with Southern Nations as well.

May Allah swt help them.......Somali's will survive on the land inshallah.

My people fought frontline in the 1977 war against Ethiopia. Few years later the same weapons that were used in fighting the Ethiopians were used to kill my people. So we don’t care about somalinimo. As for the Somalis in Ethiopia its majority darood. We isaaqs live 90% in somaliland. As for the 10% that live in Ethiopia, they are nomads who regularly cross the SL border, there are no large isaaq towns. If a big war breaks out between Somalis and Oromo, isaaq would not loose much. Although I don’t enjoy the killings of innocent Somalis by Oromo, I wouldn’t fight in a war that does not involve me or my people.
