humans do many harsh things, but u cant compare humans such as ur self to those of good qualities, such as the prophets of god, and the shieks and imams who teach us the diin.
i am not saying i "need" humans to" tel"l me what to believe but i need humans to interebt and explain the quran, if we did not need humans, you would make the prophet seem un-human and make him seem more than human, we are going in the same path as the christians, u know.
Interpreting and explaining ARE someone else's UNDERSTANDING/THOUGHTS of what Allah wants of you. The fact that there isn't a single, universal interpretation of what Allah is to have said is hard, incontrovertible prove that interpretation are construct of the human mind and of each interpreter. So you WILL be worshiping humans and not God.
the quran is in classical and ancient arabic, and to understand it I would need to learn to speak classical arabic, and who teaches me this, humans, at the end of the day only humans teach one another, but your actions and faith and iman only comes only from u.

Gacalisa, don't even bother with these 2....unfortunately there is a vast amount of misapprehension in their minds. they are what's called (free thinkers" they cling to their old greed simple because they require the moral courage, to accept Allah and Islam

Big difference. You changed the subject from INTERPREATIONS by others to TRANSLATION. There is NOTHING wrong relying on others to translate for you since you yourself can't speak the language.
But here is the catch: languages no matter how old or quaint are LEARNABLE. You don't know classic arabic or arabic in general? No problemo, you can learn it and then read the quran yourself. You don't absolutely need someone else.
Depending on others, however, like needing them to explain the meaning or how a particular verse or sura is be practiced, is depending on other's interprations. Hence, you're worshiping what THEY tell you and not what Allah tells you.
i am young and can learn a new language easily, but for those who are aged, and dont have the time nor the power to learn, who are they to respond to, to be more knowledgable of the religion and undestand it? just praying and being good will not get u to heaven actually trying to undestand the diin and the world of God is a must.

That excuse is pathetic and you know it. Allah can easily come himself or sent his army of angels in the old folk's sweet night dreams to tell them exactly what he said they can't understand themselves.
