ABGAAL ayaa soomaali ugu baddan. darood+rest of hawiye dir hadii leeysku daro waxaa ka baddan abgaal..

dhinaca kale haddii aan runta ka hadlo-----

runta waxay tahay soomaali iyadoo dhan waa 7 million kama badna magaalooyinka soomaalidu degta meesha kaliya ee one million people ay deggan tahay waa xamar... boosaaso and hargeysa and jigjiga waxaa deggan wax ka yar 300 000 wax aan dhameeyn. haba kala bataane.

ogaadeen ayaa baddan ayaa tiraahdeen, war shiiqaal oo la yiraahdo waa qabiil yar, ayaa karbaashtey ogaadeen dagaal ay isku qaadeen waxaa ogaadeen la direy 10 gool and eber..sheekhaal won..

taas ayaa beeneysay ogadeen ayaa baddan..

dhulka soomaalida degto ama somaliya qofkiiba waxaa ku aadaya hadii qof waliba dhul la siiyo 5 km wareeg ah . taa waxay ku tuseysaa yaraanta dadka la yiraah SOOMAALI.

qabiilada soomaaliya ugu tirada baddan hadii aad rabtaan in la ogaado waxaa fiicnaan laheeyd in la sameeyo tirokoob..la tiriyo qabiilada ka dib ayaa la dhihi karaa qabiilkas ayaa ugu baddan somalia

The advocates of the Ogaadeen been a major tribe in Western Somalia seems to argue out of faith, they are arguing they are the majority and no evidence is sited.

Kun Dile.

First of all my friend Kun Dile , there are no Ogaadeens in Jigjiga and Dirirdhaba and even Harar. These large heavily populated areas are not even claimed by the Cagdheer. Jigjiga is shared by Jid-waaq, Gedabursi,Arab, Makaahil(Sacad Muuse), some Jaarsa Oromo and originally it was a Dir land , the Akiishe Dir were driven from Jigjiga in 1860 by the Bartires and their Garaad Wiil Waaal. Nevertheless Akiishe and Gurgure still share the city with rest of Somali tribes. The city of Diridhaba are contested by both the Ciise clan and a section of the Oromo. From Jigjiga through Harar to Dirirdhaba all the way to Naasriya in the heart of ethiopia there is not a single Daarood, in these areas. In fact in Naasriya there are more Burzuuk/Arabs then there is a Daarood in all the three major cities. The Burzuuks are the only Somali sub-sub clans that has its own province east of Dirirdhab, they are the largest Arab Isxaaq clan.

Who are the Ogaadeens??? Somalis confuse Jidwaaq with Their Absame brother the Ogaadeen. Large Ogaadeen sub-clans are :

1- Maxamed Subeer (Cabdille , reer Isaaq)

2- Makaahiil the largest been the Abraahiin

3- Cawlayahan and majority is the rer Afgaab

4- The Bah-Geri the least of all the above.

Historically all of these Ogaadeen sub clans lived in the area between Wardheer, Qabridhahar, Sagsag and Dhagax Madow. No ogaaden in 1880 ever crossed or even seen the Shabeele river. The Jidwaaq(Abuskuul and Bartire) hardly changed their settlement for the past 400 years, but their Ogaadeen brother was driven mostly by his nomadic wants and droughts and by the pressure of other nomadic Somali clans. The Abskull and Bartire are sedentary while the Ogaadeen is 90% nomadic.

For instance the largest Ogaadeen sub clan is Reer Cabdille, Reer Warfaa, Reer Magan, Reer Dalal the reer Magan are the over all the kings of all the Ogaadeen minor cheifs. Ogaadeen Ugaas such as Ugaas Nuur Cabadhudhiye and Raage Ugaas's brother hail from that numerous section of the Ogaadeen, and non of these personalities who mostly lived 1820-1880 ever seen the Shabeele river. In fact Raage Ugaas Warfaa Ugaas Magan Dalal is buried in modern Dhagax Madow few km from Dhagaxbuur, now ironically his modern cousin Axmed Cumar Jees who was born in Dhagaxbuur is fighting and claiming Kismaayo.

Charles Cruttenden, a pioneer British explorer in 1840 found the Ogaadeen Maxmed Subeer grazing their stocks in modern Salaxlay just 80km from Hargaysa, that doesn't mean these Ogaadeen came from far away it simply means their historical homes was as i stated above, the land beween Qabri Dahar, Dhagax Madow Walwaal and Wardheer, no more and no less. Eeven today more or less the Ogaadeen and the OLF operates with in these limits, you will never hear Ogaadeens or the OLF fighting south of the Shabeele river.

Now lets see how the 9 provinces of Somali Galbeed and its 48 districts were divided and who setelles where:

1. Gobolka Shiniile
2. Gobolka Jig-jiga
3. Gobolka Jarareed
4. Gobolka Nogbeed
5. Gobolka Qoraxay
6. Gobolka Doollo
7. Gobolka Shabeele
8. Gobolka Liibaan
9. Gobolka Afdheer

Gobolka Jigjiga 6 districts no Ogaadeen 0%

1 Awbare (Gedabursi)
2 Dhagaxle(Dir)
3 Gursum(Dir)
4 Jigjiga( capital shared by all, no Ogaadeen)
5 Qabri Bayax(Abskuul)
6 Wajaale(Habar Awal)
7 Xarshin(Habar Awal+Arab)

Gobolka Shiniile 7 districts not a single Ogaadeen 0%

1 Diridhabo( Ciise, Gurgure +Oromo)
2 Shiiniile(Dir , Oromo)
3 Ayshica(Dir, Oromo)
4 Danbal(Dir, Oromo)
5 Erar (Dir, Oromo)
6 Afdam(Dir, Oromo)
7 Ma,ayso(Dir,Oromo)

Gobolka Dhagaxbuur 4 districts

1 Awaare(Ciidagale)
2 Dhagaxbuur(Gaadsan, Sheekhaal , Ogaaden)
3 Dhagaxmadow(Ogaadeen)
4 Gaashaamo(Habar Yoonis)

Gobolka Wardheer

1 Bookh (Harti)
2 Danood(Harti + Habar Yoonis)
3 Galaadi( Majerten)
4 Qoriile( Majeeren)
5 Wardheer(Harti, Habar Gidir, Mareexan)

Now we are almost in 50% of the 9 provinces and few Ogaadeens

Lord Diplock,Garissa???? I think we're better off not having this place. Its infected with kenyans, and Aids.We have own 9 provineces, and 48 districts we dont need Garissa.[/quote]

I am sorry sister, Garissa is full of Ogadens who left Ogadenia over 100 years ago. It's true there are some Kenyans there, but unlike the sadist Ethiopians, they dont kill our people or jailed them. We have the Rule of Law and The town is booming, we have many schools and hospitals. A real developed town in Kenya. It would be a mistake for a Ogaden girl like you to dismiss out of hand, such big Ogaden population and say 'we dont need them'.
