unlike most here i actually supported the ICU in their fight to liberate xamar and in fact my commander (Col. Hiiraale) sent 240 and 30+ teknikos to fight alonside them. he was against igad troops but what did they do? they stabbed him in the back and executed our captured wounded soldiers.

From what I recall, Barre did have a good relationship with the UIC up untill the Geddi cabinet was dissolved & a new cabinet was called, again with Barre in it. He grew closer to the TFG & used to frequent Baay, his relationship with his Cayr comrades deteriorated & finally for fear of Foreign invasion from Kismayo, the UIC attacked.

Some call it a strategic attack citing Barre running to the arms of TFG & Ethios after his defeat as clear proof of his pror cozy relationship with the TFG.

Personally, I don't know why they atacked Kismayo & I think it was unnecessary.

As for the shooting of the wounded soldiers, I believe madaxda Makaakiimta apologized & said the responsible men would pay.

they didnt attacked kismayo but they were invited by the elders of kismayo. but barre hiiraale refused it and wanted to fight he was outnumberd by the elders of kismayo including the colonels of the jva and thus could the uic go to kismayo. muslim man the reason why the uic went to kismayo is cuss the adoon troops wants to land their remember that kismayo has one of the biggest seaports and airports
