clubbing and alcohol arent one in the same, neither could be justified but the latter is in a league of its own.

salhudiin...its good to avoid all sins all together..but honestly speaking...being and growing up here..you can't be a 100% good msulim..but i look at like try my best not to do bigger sins..the less bigger sins..the better...if i go to a club...and I don't drink..its much better then drinking while I was at that club..teh less sins the better..if you could avoid them all then thats even better..again I am not making excuses for such acts I'm just stating the most closest to reality.

Yep, they can't be justified. I don't know about alcohol being in a league of it own, because in parties/club people drink, and sitting with them is allowed only if the purpose is to make dacwa to them, without that intention one who spends time in a place like that is approving their actions. Plus clubbing is also coming very near to zina...

Yeah bro, life is hard and is a constant test for a muslim and Jannah is surrounded with hardships and difficulties as the Jahannam is surrounded with "easy life" and desires. We humans are weak and we all make mistakes, may Allah give us strenght to make right decisions before it's too late... Amin. While some sins may make us fell good, if one gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will replace it with something better...

About the topic, here's a couple of authentic sayings of Prophet Muhammad (saws) about drinking:

"Allah has cursed alcohol, the one who drinks it, the one who pours it, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who squeezes it (squeezes the grapes, etc), the one for whom it is squeezed, the one who carries it and the one to whom it is carried." (Abu Dawud, saheeh)

"If any man from among my ummah drinks wine, Allah will not accept his prayers for forty days." (Nasaa'i, saheeh)

Hadd punishment for drinking is flogging and this was stated in a saheeh hadeeth reported by Muslim.
