Fah223, The concept was derived from back in 1992. Hawiye embarked a big genocide campaign against Daarood in Mogadisho and the whole south.

Imagine a group of militia with machine guns and bayonets roaming the corners of your home looking for any person who is Daarood. I can still recall how painful that memory was. We used to dock in closets or hide inside other houses. We later hired people to protect us and even transport us to either Kismayo or far places from them.
You wake up every day with a news that dozens were seized from their houses and taken to Tarabuunka -- the slaughter house of Daarood. I remember one day, 30 Marehans, 21 Ogaden, 15 Majertens and 1 Warsangeli killed in Tarabuunka.

It is true story and it is my first time talking about it since you are man of genuine feelings and since you asked honest and serious questions.
damn, thats sad walahi... and when I hear all those stories all you can really do is shake your head and know why everything is the way it is.
FAh1223, It used to haunt me for many years, but I was young and as I have grown up, my recollection of these traumatic events has waned , esp PTSD.

when I said (MJ) I was referring to you.................since your mother is one, leelkase and xawaadle intermarry and are key allies in terms of business and defense, they both know they are related.

and you can ask anybody who knows about somali qabiils profoundly.

I am uncle to FAh1223, so I am honest with him. He is in need of an insight of the mystery of the past.

Wallahi I talk to this Wagardac Oday all the time and he knows the origin of every Qabiil. I asked him Hawadle Claim to be Hawiye what up wit that, He said Their mother is Leelkase, and they come from Samaale? or something like that I don't remember excat name. He also said Kismaayo is discovered by Cisman Mohamud Man, whose ship broke in Indian Ocean, thus making MJ the rightfull owners of Kismaayo. So X-Unit,so every thing this Wardhere Oday says is true. He just told me today that Ahmed Diriiye the Hawiye Spokesman had blood pressure and can't make interviews, this will be true! Wait and see

Riighaaye, I'm not making claims I'm talking about the husband of my aunt who was killed by a kuufi guduud in his own house in front of his children and then was dragged around bleeding while Kuufi gaduud made him open the safe. I'm talking about many of the known Hawiye families oo la biliqestay by kuufi guduud before USC even reached Mogadishu. I also personally know of rape cases by askarta dawlada during that time.

Mike, I don't have an exact or even estimate figures of how many Hawiyes and/or Daroods have died in the initial 1990 war, the figure is high, but I do know at the begining of the war, it was not Hawiye Vs Darood it turned that way around the time Siad Bare's forces were losing the battle, at that time Kuufi guduud and those fighting along side them (i.e. Morgan's group) started to make it a Hawiye vs Darood and killed anything that came their way be it a civilian or a USC, in addition to the bililiqo they were involved in to begin with. As a result USC and their mooryaan retaliated against all Daroods horribly and literally kicked almost all Darood out of Xamar.

Anyway the whole thing was horrible to the Somali people. I guess the thing I react to most now when that war is mentioned is; the never ending whining of some kids around here like no other atrocities were committed ever since to other Somalis.

Demure there is a difference between government covering where all clans can hide in and a strict clan-based rebel groups and the atrocities they carry out.

Dawlad, I typically don't dwell in the past. It's a waste of energy and I think we spend enough time on it anyway.

Damn look what this place is turning me into, another clan oriented herd Confused

I think it's time for me to quit here Confused

Obviously there is nothing you can respond with. Next time don't parade around what happened during the government time as clan oriented.
