I always remember as a 6 year going to SNF fundraiser shirs in the US, and I would hear the term 'Marexaan' a lot. Laakin I didn't know what the heck it was. However it wasn't until a few years later I was boarding a bus with my brother that a man stopped us and said 'You guys are Marexaan, and I know it'. We were like Wtf? He told us he knew our Parents. Later I verifed with moms and got the whole scoop. Anyways my Pops was always very Anti-Qabil, and he always tells me this qabil disease is something very new. He would probably be dissapointed if he saw the fire I unleash here.

same here...
he always tells me about how the old government had demonstrations of "kill qabil" in Xamar back in the day, him and his friends didn't really even ask or know what each other were in terms of qabil...

Qabil was introduced to Sadeboi, a boy who did not even speak Somali [or might as well have not tried] by some fake wadaads and people who have cuqdad for Marexaan. This is when I found out that I was this qabil and other people weren't and thats why they said those things I did not understand such as "koofiyo gaduud" and "oh he has $100 bill because his people stole all the money from Somalia."
I did not find qabil, qabil found me. And now everyone knows how I am a proud son of SADE

Congrats to Gifted and her blockbuster thread. Just a day earlier she was wondering how to create what she has called "successful threads". Now she has created a monster right here that even got dudes fighting over whos skin is lighter than the other.

Qabiilnimo is very contagious. You can get it from people you hang out with. Unfortunaltly, I learned it the hard way. I assume the same is the case with you
