Seelaanyo is playing his cards right this time, he may very well be the nominee, recently he held a close doors meeting with many HY figures and the Ambassador is one of the men present at that meeting at the Ambassador Hotel in Hargeisa. HY wing of Kulmiye are pro-Seelaanyo while most HA Kulmiyans are for Dr. Xuseen who is a by the way a highly educated guy, he teached at John Hopkins University and is married to a US Ambassador, he can help bring a new vision to the Kulmiye party and inject some fresh ideas into Somaliland's politics. His only lacking is the fact he enjoys support from a section of Somalilanders, manily his clan members in and around Hargeisa, if he is to be competetive in the coming elction he needs to work hard and campaign to win support from other regions in Somaliland. For now, the winds are blowing Mr. Seelanyo's way, not only does he have the support of the big three Habars in JSL politics he is gaining support from Awdal voters and as far as Sool. The Eastern block Somaliland clans alone the HJ and HY can easily put him over the top and the tip the balance of power his way.. I doubt Ina Biixi will win the VP post, HY have made it clear to Seelanyo/Kulmiye that the VP post needs to go to the other smaller clans(read Gudabirsi or Harti) he is too divisive and if he wins it this may backfire on Klumiye and create a backlash from voters who could very well end up voting for Udub thus we get stuck with Riyale for 5 more years. This will be a very interesting election to watch
