I know it's ease to spot these scavengers in Africa, but in the west too?
I never knew that this things happen here too.

B-Max, The main cause is when Somali families legally sponsor kids/teens whom they aren't related to them by blood or kids from extended families. Upon coming to the States or Canada, these kids usually develop psychological problems like the sense of being treated unfairly. Besides some of them are demanded of bearing the burden of exceeding their expectations in the future to help their families back home. They are susceptible to peer pressure, and with the mounting influence of Hiphop and its violent projections, these teens/kids join and participate gang-activities. They become High school dropouts and later community gangs and then Scavengers of Maqaayads, lol

Saxib Londoners suffer from the effects of Qat. It is free for them and they don't work, that is why their kids's participation on gang-related activities are hard to reverse. No parent spend time with their kids as they grow up.
People in North America toil hard and their small businesses have sprouted all over the states, earning hard currency and capitalizing on it.
