There is a lot of Somali bus drivers in London..at least they work and make money unlike the faraxs who are not doing anything and wasting their time

They do it because it's simple no need to work hard, they can quit when ever it suits them and they can come back at anytime, you choose what shift your doing too, for some people its the best self-employed job, besides somali men are known for being lazy. I just wish they didnt look so nasty- or should I say unhealthy being fat or too skinny is not cool, oh lord and why do some wear suits?

Why da fuk do you care if they drive a taxi or a fukn camel for that matter. They have a job, they suppor themselves and their families, they make an honest halal living and probably will make alot more money (tax free) than people in this room.....so to the topic make...shut da hell up dude and find something better to do with your time.

Somali Taxi Drivers make more money all the Somali Professionals, their real income is known and on a good week they make 600-800 dollars that's like 30,00 a week

I know a lot of taxi drivers that supported their kids with it through HS, University and even Masters and then retired in Dubai and You likened it to prostitution?


Laakin I do agree with Somali cabbies and taking not driving black passengers as it goes beyond being careful to just plain racism. Unfortunately these guys may not have been in America for the longest or may be older but they can't tell a madow hoodlum from a decent madow who had to do overtime at the office and is just trying to get a ride home. I've met many cab drivers who said I won't pick up a madow passenger no matter what and thats too extreme

Murax, Notice how non of you critics weighted the options avaiable for them in Minneapolis. I am in the same state as them and they can't have excuse for not having options. The thing is, there are a lot of jobs in every corner in Minneapolis, but for some odd reason, they all want to drive Taxi. Of course, You see a taxi diver who worked hard and made alot of money and then moved on and started his own business, but that's not the case here in Minneapolis. Same old taxi drivers who used to drive taxi when I was in High school are still driving it today. When you see 4,000 Taxi drivers roaming in Downtown in any given weekend ,giving rides to drunk and gay dudes, it makes me cringe. Only few of them manage to make a lot of money. The rest are paycheck to paycheck
