Of course destructive damage have been done because we have an organized terrorist entity that is determined never to see a viable Somali Republic. This group has to be fought off. The demage is being done under a great cause and one I and Somaliweyn welcome. God willing the Dowladiid will not win this battle for Somalia. Some favor anarchy over Government they must be taught a lesson.It doesn't take a genius to realize the destructive damage both factions are causing to Somalia's attempt to find a long-lasting resolution to the 18 year old conflict that has wrecked havoc on our country. Personally, I oppose the TFG and Al-Shabab because they are both part of the Somali problem and can't be the remedy to our calamity.
Horta ninyaho your name says it all twisted Logic. Waryaa the TFG has brought forth the framework of Governance back to Somalia. The TFG is the solution to the 18 year old conflict that has wrecked havoc on our country.
Why is the TFG our Solution?
1. The TFG is the most inclusive Government Somalia has ever seen.
2. THe TFG got massive International support.
3. The TFG is lead by a Man who understands the Somali problem.
4. Last me not least the TFG has a plan for the Somali Nation.
The TFG was an unarmed government when it first began because it was a unified government that represented the whole of Somalia specially the stack Holders. It didn't feel it was going to have much resistance because all those that had power were in the government.
That being said the ICU emerged while the TFG had less than 5,000 men on the ground. They wanted to take advantage of the TFG weakness. The TFG determination to exits and the International Community readiness to help brought forth The AU iyo Ethiopia sending in its army to crush the resistance. The ICU diluted the TFG and wanted equally power at the negotiation table. The TFG look at the ICU and saw USC but the USC clans were already represented in the TFG 60 seats may I utter with PM seat. If the ICU were to be given equally authority as TFG what does that make the TFG? And I am pretty sure Puntland would want to come to the negotiation table as well because they have power as much as the ICU or more. Point blank is the ICU wanted to reform the government before it could even enter Mogadishu and that something that would have destroy the TFG politically right there and than and Puntland and other supporting clans would have pulled their support back.
As for Al-Shabab these guys want to take Somalia decades back.
1. They don't have Solution to the Somali Problem.
2. They are disorganize youth with no clear agenda.
3. There is no real leadship within Al-shabab
4.They Shame the Somali name iyo Islam teachings.
I prey they all go to hell and pay for the lives they haven taken.
