personally, i think people are deceptive when trying to "impress" someone. they often try too hard and portray something that isn't really who they are. they don't know that this is something that can actually turn a man off and they could end up losing a relationship that had potential. so my advice to anyone is not lie to yourself, stop showing off and just be you.

Lakin let me ask what exactly is 'yourself'? I mean it's not like your entire personality is just one shade...I could be a tom boy, a girlie girl, a darling, a bitch, a friend...all in a day. The way I see it, you choose who you are and how you carry yourself depending on the situation you're in...and that, is what determines how people (included mr.waan-kaa-helay) see you. So when you tell someone 'be yourself' you are kinda giving them a lot of options there.
